Abstract

The crucial role of pig farming in global food production is highlighted in this study. Pig farming plays a significant role in agriculture and food production in many cultures around the world. Various domestication sites for pigs have been recorded, including Western and Eastern Asia, Western Europe, India, and Taiwan. The primary focus is on providing a detailed presentation of the budgeting process for the construction of a rural shed dedicated to pig farming. Additionally, a comprehensive architectural model for collective pig farming is proposed, encompassing all production phases. Starting with a comprehensive literature review, the study includes sizing parameters, construction techniques, and specific materials to ensure the well-being and productive efficiency of pigs in each phase. The architectural design stands out, utilizing advanced technological tools such as AUTOCAD 2023 and SketchUp 2023 to ensure precision. The Project Budget section offers a thorough analysis of associated costs, totaling R$ 691,445.74, considering national averages and variations in the Brazilian Amazon region. This study aims not only for productive efficiency but also for the welfare of animals, reflecting the importance of pig farming in contemporary agriculture.
