Realidade virtual como ferramenta terapêutica: impactos na dor, ansiedade e bem-estar psicofísico de pacientes oncológicos pediátricos

Resumo

Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever os efeitos da aplicação da realidade virtual (RV) como intervenção não farmacológica no manejo da dor e da ansiedade em crianças e adolescentes submetidos a tratamentos oncológicos e avaliar seu
impacto no bem-estar psicológico e na qualidade da experiência hospitalar desses pacientes. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura com coleta de dados realizada
nas bases de dados National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Web of Science e SCOPUS
(Elsevier). O levantamento bibliográfico ocorreu em março e abril de 2025, apresentando como critério de inclusão: estudos primários publicados nos últimos 5 anos nos
idiomas inglês, português e francês, com acesso completo, gratuito, online e como critérios de exclusão: dissertação de mestrado, tese de doutorado, relatos de experiência, artigos duplicados, revisão, trabalhos que não respondem à questão norteadora e
que não se adequam à estratégia PICo. Identificando 193 estudos, sendo 21 artigos selecionados para análise. Constatou-se que a RV é uma intervenção eficaz e viável, destacando-se em relação a métodos tradicionais de distração, especialmente por sua capacidade de reduzir aspectos físico-psicológicos de pacientes pediátricos durante o tratamento oncológico.
